Matanuska Valley Advisory Committee
The Matanuska Valley AC has 15 undesignated seats with members residing in Big Lake, Palmer, and Wasilla. The AC meets monthly during the board cycle and actively participates in both fisheries and game management issues. They have strong sport and personal use fishery, as well as hunting, subsistence and trapping interests. Areas of jurisdiction for the Mat Valley AC are Game Management Units 13, 14, and 16; and Cook Inlet–Resurrection Bay fisheries.
